The approach

Anatomy first. Always.

Most practitioners learn where to inject. Lalit learns why the injection goes where it goes — what the muscle does, how it interacts with the muscles surrounding it, where the vessels run, which layers carry risk and which carry safety. That distinction changes outcomes.

This approach is informed by years of reading clinical anatomy research — including the work of Professor Sebastian Cotofana MD PhD, Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at Vanderbilt University and recognised globally as the world's leading anatomist in facial aesthetics, whose research on injection depths, fat compartment layering and facial safety zones has over 300 published papers behind it.

When Lalit assesses a patient's forehead before an anti-wrinkle treatment, he is thinking about the frontalis muscle's fibre orientation, the brow resting position, the Line of Convergence where bidirectional muscle movement meets, and the safe zone that keeps the injection effective without risking brow drop. Not because these things appear on a standard course checklist — but because he studied them.

Pre-treatment assessment — every time

Facial symmetry, muscle behaviour, skin quality, Fitzpatrick type and resting brow position are assessed before a single injection is planned. What the face does at rest informs what the treatment should achieve.

Micro-adjustment — not a standard grid

Injection placement is adjusted in real time based on the individual. A standard injection grid applied to every patient produces standard results — and standard results are not what patients come to MediGlow for.

Complication prevention — not just treatment

Understanding where risk zones are — vasculature, nerve pathways, anatomical danger zones — means Lalit plans the safest route through every treatment area before the needle touches the skin.

Continuous self-directed study

Alongside formal training and certification, Lalit reads clinical journals and anatomy research from the published work of leading anatomists including Professor Sebastian Cotofana, Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at Vanderbilt University.

See the approach in practice

Ladder lines, brow drop and the safe zone — explained in the clinic.

In this clip from the MediGlow consultation room, Lalit talks through his real-time assessment of forehead ladder lines, why injection placement relative to the brow line matters, and how he identifies the safe zone for each patient before a single injection is placed.

"The objective is not to go too close to the brow — because if we go there, it will experience a brow drop. We keep it in the safe zone. The Botox will diffuse and do what it is supposed to do in this region."

What drives Lalit every day.

⚠ Client content needed — ask Lalit

Placeholder for Lalit's personal mission statement. Suggested questions to ask him:

• Why did you move from NHS pharmacy into aesthetics?
• What does "anatomy-first" mean to you as a practitioner?
• What do you want every MediGlow patient to feel when they leave the clinic?
• What made you choose the Enlighten SR as Scotland's first clinic?

Aim for 3–5 sentences in his own voice. First person. Personal. Not clinical jargon.
