What To Expect
Consultation
We begin by assessing your tattoo, skin type, medical history and treatment goals. We will discuss whether you want complete removal or fading for a cover-up.
Tattoo Assessment
Your practitioner will assess the tattoo size, colour, age, location, ink density and depth. This helps determine the likely number of sessions and expected response.
Patch Test
A patch test is required before treatment to check how your skin responds to the laser. This is an important safety step before starting your course.
Your Treatment Begins
During treatment, the laser is passed over the tattooed area. You may feel a sharp, rapid snapping sensation — similar to an elastic band against the skin. The treatment time depends on the tattoo size and complexity. Immediately after treatment the skin may appear temporarily white — this is called frosting and is a normal response caused by the rapid release of gas as laser energy is absorbed by the pigment. It settles within minutes.
Healing Period
After treatment, the area may feel warm and appear red or slightly raised. You will receive aftercare instructions to support safe healing.
Course of Sessions
