Your consultation with our Medical Professionals
We assess your Fitzpatrick skin type, hair colour and density, medical history and medications. As medical professionals, we identify contraindications and recommend the best protocol for you.
Patch test
A patch test is performed on a small area to confirm your skin's response. Carried out at your initial consultation. Takes approximately 10 minutes.
Your course begins
Sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart depending on the treatment area and hair growth cycle. Each session takes 15–60 minutes depending on the area. Sensation: mild warmth or light snap, followed by cooling — far more comfortable than waxing.
Progress reviews
At session 3 we conduct a formal progress review, adjusting laser settings if needed. Our team contactable via WhatsApp between sessions for any aftercare questions.
Results and maintenance
80–90% permanent hair reduction after a full 6-session course. Top-up sessions available at standard single-session rates after course completion.

Many laser hair removal clinics use IPL systems which are not suitable for darker or olive skin tones. At MediGlow we use the Cutera Xeo+ with NdYag 1064nm wavelength — the gold-standard laser for clients with darker Fitzpatrick skin types. If you have been told elsewhere that laser hair removal is not suitable for your skin — come and speak to us. We can treat you safely.
